Le Touquet Paris Plage

Activities in the area surrounding our charming hotel

While staying at our hotel, you will be at the heart of the famed resort that is the Côte d'Opale. In the 1930s, Le Touquet-Paris-Plage became a renowned seaside destination, earning the nickname "Arcachon of the North". The area's huge maritime pine forest and superb beach are reminiscent of the coasts of Gironde. Once you have explored the coast, either on foot or by Segway, and after enjoying the delights of the sea while sailing, kite surfing or stand up paddle boarding, don't forget to visit the other unmissable sights of the resort. In particular, we recommend a visit to the lighthouse in Le Touquet-Paris-Plage, a veritable balcony onto the Côte d'Opale. Built in 1951 by architect Louis Quételart, the octagonal lighthouse is made of a highly original orange-coloured brick. Next, head to the town's museum, located in the Way Side villa, with its extensive collection of canvases by artists who fell for the charms of the Le Touquet coastline: Henri le Sidaner, Eugène Chigot, Eugène Boudin and many more. In the late afternoon or the evening, don't miss the buzz on rue Saint-Jean and in the other streets in the centre of the town, where a host of shops selling local produce, clothes and interior design products await you.
